Low calorie diet is the ideal diet for people. We eat different kinds of foods throughout the days. Not only because we love to eat and they taste good but also because we need to eat food. Apart from that we also consume several foods that are rich in carbohydrates, minerals and ions.But apart from several advantages there are some disadvantages of eating these foods specially if they are eaten in huge quantity. Obesity is one of the things that occur due to excessive eating. Though these days, people have become very much health conscious, there are few people who are victims of obesity. It is one of the most painful things to have and one of the easiest ways to avoid is to have low calorie diet.

Speaking about low calorie diet first of all one must mention what it is. In general sense low calorie diet refers to the diet which includes food items that contain very low calories or no calories at all. Apart from helping us to stay away from obesity and different kinds of diseases, low calorie diet is also very helpful for maintaining the fitness level of the body. One of the main advantages of having low calorie diet is that does not encourage the consumption of foods that are rich in fat. Fats are like poisons to people who are suffering from obesity or cardiovascular diseases and they should make a habit of having low calorie diet. However instead of fat, low calorie diet allows people to consume fat substitutes that taste like real fats but are actually very low calorie food items.

One of the main reason why doctors advise people suffering from obesity to have low calorie diet is that it helps to maintain the level of energy reserve inside the body. Obesity refers to a stage where the energy level inside the body reaches such a stage that leads to deformation of body parts so low calorie diet helps us to burn out the stored energy reserve and bring its quantity to a low level.

This is the reason why people all over the world have now focused on having low calorie diet. If you want to stay away from diseases and sty fit and fine with a slim figure having low calories diet is the best option. Even if you are not a patient of obesity and cardiac diseases you may take low calorie diet because there is no advantage of having it, only if you bare not suffering from malnutrition. Parents should also create a habit among their child to have low calorie diet so that things like obesity and cardiovascular diseases do not occur. However it must be mentioned here that low calorie diet does not at all mean that the foods that it include taste bad. Low calorie diet too contains foods rich in protein, vitamin, mineral and ion but the foods are generally less oily.
